Normandy Park is practically next door — five minutes from our Burien office — and its quiet, tree-lined residential streets are where many of our most successful students take their very first drive. Low traffic volumes, wide sightlines, and gentle grades make it the region's most forgiving classroom.
How We Train in Normandy Park
From those calm beginnings, Normandy Park students step up through 1st Ave S — the arterial spine they'll drive daily — into downtown Burien's signalized core, then onward to SR-509 for freeway fundamentals. Because we're so close, Normandy Park families waste zero lesson minutes on transit: nearly every behind-the-wheel hour is spent actually driving.

Normandy Park Questions
Why is Normandy Park good for first driving lessons?
Low traffic, wide residential streets, and minimal commercial congestion mean brand-new drivers can master steering, braking, and scanning without pressure — then progress to busier Burien and SeaTac roads only when ready.
How quickly can Normandy Park students get scheduled?
Because we're 5 minutes away, Normandy Park addresses are among the easiest for us to slot in — including early-morning and evening lessons. Call (206) 518-7256; summer books 1–2 weeks out.
Can parents ride along during lessons?
Our lessons are one-on-one in a dual-control vehicle, which maximizes learning. Parents are welcome to discuss progress with the instructor at drop-off, and every student receives a structured performance review after each drive.
